FLIPPEN PARK DALLAS

I absolutely loved capturing Kinsley and Jared’s love during their engagement session at Flippen Park Dallas! These two wanted a romantic and joyful approach to their engagement photos so I did just that! I knew that Flippen Park would be a perfect place for their engagement photos, and it was! Their final gallery showcased the love, joy, and smiles they share for each other.

HOW THEY MET

Kinsley states, “We met in high school, specifically marching band, and we got to know watch other through a mutual friend. He was actually in a friend group with my older brother. We went on a date and he asked me to be his girlfriend (after asking my brother’s permission).”

HOW HE PROPOSED

Kinsley states, “He proposed in his apartment with a trail of yellow and red rose petals leading from the door to the balcony. There were photos of us from different years in the relationship on the wall (and framed) with sweet notes about each underneath and a “tie that binds” thread from a Chinese legend (my very first marching band show that I LOVED). Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” was playing on repeat on the television as he read me each note and then led me to the balcony where there were lights strung on the railing and he asked me to marry him.”

The location has lots of backdrops for photos and has beautiful landscaping that you just can’t find anywhere else. Spring, Summer, and early Fall are the best seasons for photos, but this local park is open year round for visitors to attend!
