I enjoyed capturing David and Caroline’s love during their engagement session! These two wanted a classy and joyful approach to their engagement photos so I did just that! I knew the Dallas Arboretum would be a perfect place for their engagement photos and it was! Their final gallery showcased the love, joy, and smiles they share for each other.
Caroline grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana and David grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas. They both went to Louisiana Tech University for college. The first day of classes Caroline sat by a random girl in a lab class she had that quarter, and they ended up becoming friends over time! She introduced Caroline to her boyfriend’s friend David, and the rest is history! They had their first date at Waffle House on January 6, 2018, and they ‘officially’ started dating on January 14th.
David proposed on the top of Pike’s Peak in Colorado Springs, CO on December 30th. He planned to do it outside, overlooking the beautiful mountains, but the wind was blowing so hard and the wind chill was -16 that day! So he decided to do it in a secluded part of the visitor’s center up on top the mountain.
The Dallas Arboretum is the perfect place for your engagements, bridals, and wedding! The location has lots of backdrops for photos and has beautiful landscaping and architecture that you just can’t find anywhere else. Spring, Summer, and early Fall are the best seasons for photos.
