UTAH STATE CAPITOL

I absolutely loved capturing Paula + Saidge’s first look at the Utah State Capitol! The beautiful landscape paired perfect with their wedding attire and neutral florals. When it’s the right season, which is every season, the Utah State Capitol is my favorite place to go to for engagement’s, bridal’s, first looks, and couple portraits! Hence the numerous amount of portraits and joyful smiles on Paula and Saidge’s faces.

TIPS

When it’s the right season and you want to take pictures at the Utah State Capitol, make sure to go either early in the morning around 7AM during sunrise, or later in the evening around 4PM right before the crowds of people set in. I say this because those times provide the perfect lighting, weather, and space! The gallery collection below were taken in the morning during sunrise. The sun is still hidden behind the building which will provide the perfect lighting for your Utah Capitol photos!

These two were the most fun and loving couple I have ever met! They were both so willing to wake up early and get some gorgeous Utah wedding photographer pictures! It was quite a drive for the both of us but the photos and time spent together was absolutely perfect and the photos definitely reflect that. Their first look was so sweet and tears were definitely shed.

Utah State Capitol is the perfect place for your engagements, bridals, and couples portraits! The location has a beautiful backdrop and has beautiful architecture both inside and out, as seen in the photos below. Summer is the best season for photos and make sure you arrive BEFORE 4PM to avoid lots of crowds!
